PS3 Hex Editor

After browsing the forums/Google for a while I was unable to locate a hex editor for the PS3 that was analogous to something like Cheat Engine for the PC, or CWCheat(I believe this is the name, but it's been so long since I've used it) that allowed me to modify the memory of an actively ruining application. Is there anything akin to this on the PS3 currently, or am I just to stick with editing save files?
