PS3 Borderlands ( Save Corrupted ) ?

Hello there just a few Days ago it was My first time ever trying the Borderlands PS3 Game.

And guess what I liked it so on the 14/2/2013 I tried to load level 11 - Fyrestone -- and it says its corrupted.

So My question is simple does anyone know why it has become corrupted and is the anything I can do to fix this.

Any Help and Information will be much Appreciated.
