This is for those who are upgrading their PS3's internal hard drive. As most of you know, the PS3's backup utility can back up the profile, game data, and game saves to a USB or external HDD but NOT the trophies collection. Many don't know how to do it so here it is.

I. Backup your Trophies Collection:
- 1. Run MultiMan and press Select + Start (to enter file manager)
- 2. Navigate to your user folder (/dev_hdd0/home/000000x)
- 3. Copy the trophy folder to a USB or ext HDD
II. Restore your Trophies Collection:
- 1. Plug in your USB containing the trophy folder
- 2. Run MultiMan and press Select + Start (to enter file manager)
- 3. Navigate to your trophy folder in your USB and copy it.
- 4. Navigate to your user folder (/dev_hdd0/home/000000x) and paste it there (overwrite if necessary)
- 5. Turn off your PS3.
- 6. Enter Recovery Mode:
- Touch and hold the power button until you hear the third beep (then let go = console turns off)
- Touch and hold the power button until you hear a double beep (then let go)
- Connect your controller using a USB cable and then press the PS button
- 7. Rebuild Database
