Can't install packages from multiMan

recently i could chose the pkg file in the internal hdd from the file manager in multiMan and then it appears in the xmb screen as a bubble icon and then install it, now i tried to update my multiMan so i installed the update without the base and when i tried to install the base after installing the later version it tells me i can't, so i deleted multiMan and installed the base update and then the later version. but now when i try to install a package from multiMan all i can do is select it and then it transfers me to the xmb screen but no bubble icon, can someone please tell me how i can fix this.

in short i deleted multiMan and reinstalled it but now i can't install a package from multiMan.
