Either use eboot by putting it in dev_hdd0/game/BCES01584/USRDIR/ or Just install cheat pkg you don't need both also the cheat pkg has the official update 1.02 in it so you don,t need to install the official update.

Be sure to play up to the point when you get your backpack and gun before using the eboot, or you will get stuck trying to use the health pack. Same goes for the cheat pkg.
