Hey folks, I have a problem with one of my controllers.
First of all, I poured coke over it. About a year ago. I let it dry, opened it and cleaned it. It works, BUT only occasionally. It seems like the controller battery has to be dead, really dead, before the PS3 accepts the controller and I'm able to charge it.
For instance, I tried the controller a few days ago, after letting it lying around for 3-4 months, hooked it to the PlayStation, it turned on - working like a charm. I played with it for about 3-4 hours and then suddenly it went off again. Tried to recharge/reconnect it - dead. Hooked it to the PlayStation again as the only USB-Device connected to it. Waited about 10-12 hours. Nothing. No charge, no activity.
This controller is driving me mad. Is there any solution to repair that or make it fully working again?
Thanks in advance,
antih3r0
P.S.: I am aware of the fact that I simply could buy a new one, but I'm a bit short on money atm. So repairing it, if possible would be my preference.
