PS3 fan not working

**Yo can a mod move my post?**

Hey guys. So I was about to begin downgrading my second ps3 to test a pkg I have been compiling. I had to install the e3 flasher nor clip in order to do this. Long story short, because my slim is one of the earlier models, i had to open my ps3 around 2 times to get the e3 flasher to work. Here is what happened: I saw that my e3 clip was ripped on the side, so I proceeded to open up my ps3 to attempt to fix the clip (if it was possible). While I was taking out the clip, I accidentally knocked off the fan connector for the ps3 (i hadn't noticed yet). I closed up my ps3, and saw that it wouldn't turn on. I opened the ps3, put some super glue (removable, does not make a permanent bond) to the board and the connector, and vuala! The ps3 would turn on again, but the fan wouldn't. Because of this, the ps3 can run for about 5 minutes and then it would give me an overheating message and proceed to shutdown. I read somewhere that you can feed the fan power from the usb or something like that. What can I do? Please help me!

Oh and about the ripped e3 flasher, is it gone forever, or can some tape :D fix it? :biggrin-new:
