I have just installed blackbox and transfered 3 games unchartered, spiderman and mass effect 3 to my 3.55
i have gaia and multiman managers
spiderman and mass effect 3 only show up on gaia and not multiman
i have the new multiman and when ever i have transferred via usb the game have always shown up on both
all games have gone into my GAMEZ folder
any ideas why multiman is'nt seeing them as this is the one i usually use?

Im happy with what i have 3.55 now if 4. whatever is released ok yay. I really want a dev to make a program that can read a ps3 hard drive connected to your pc
This would be awesome on so many levels we could edit the games file structure and lord knows what else. Has there been any news on devs doing this.
If this is in the wrong section i apologize and would a mod kindly move it to the correct one

I did the replacing of the eboot and SFO in the file manager.

when I'm about to play the game the PS3 gives me an error saying "you cannot play this game at the current video output setting" this is my problem..

But when I use the original SFO again. it booted.. but after the loading icon gives me a Black Screen... I'm using HDMi by the way.. Please help..

Some help i have few problems..some of the game(most of it) have one of this problem :
1. first is error 80010017...when game start.....what to do??
2. black screen when game start and i need to restart console when that happens...

I have 3.55 verson.using mulitman....and i download games that are playable on 3.55 verson....some of games works but some of them dont!!
Can u help me..pls and explain what to do... (my english is bad but I hope you will understand)

I downloaded 'The Batman' animated series which spans 5 seasons that is only 6.5 gigs so every episode is about 90-100 mb only and the file format is a .mkv I proceeded to convert it to ps3 format(.mp4) using WinAvi All-In-One Converter(I've been doing this for every anime/cartoon/movie awhile) after transferring the videos to my external and playing it, the video plays fast as if it was played in 1.5x speed and there's no sound, I checked if it was alright in the pc, it runs smoothly w/o problems but when it comes to the ps3 it's crappy. Since ps3s cannot play .mkv it's necessary to convert it so I'm guessing the conversion is the problem from small(90-100mb) to big(190mb) that's why the sound and speed is off, I was only able to watch episode 1 in the ps3 w/o any problems but all others are alike. Any recommendations on what converter should I use or what format should I convert it to?

I don't want to use ps3 media server since I want to collect it in my external just like everything else. Will multiman's showtime player play .mkvs? Also how can I adjust the volume there or what should I press? Sorry for asking our tv's screen is small so some on-screen buttons in multiman can't be seen or are very small to see, my version is 4.2 something it's a base version. I won't forget to +1 rep.

Also what's the use of patches? Is it to update a game? If your game is already fixed and running do you still need a patch to make it better? Just like how some games have reverse buttons i.e.
O - Accept
X - Decline
but when you press O it's actually X

Q1 - I am currently on OFW-DEX 4.21 is that the Latest.

Q2 - In DEBUG-setting what needs to be changed if anything to run Games from External USB HDD also in Debug setting the Region is set to North America but Im in the UK should I change that or leave that be.

Q3 - I'm wanting to run Older and Newer Games from My External USB HDD at the Moment I have completely formatted on my PC the External USB HDD to its original NTFS now all I want to no is what do I do Now because I just used the Format BD EMULATOR HDD to format the NTFS to fat32 I believe but now what were do I go from here I cant use it on MY PC it doesn't show up so what do I do.

Any Help will be Much Appreciated

I just successfully converted to dex, and i dont want to go through all the hassle to play backup games on my DEX 4.21, so my question is,

can i play backups of old games on my DEX 4.21 using the latest multiman DEX? i tried booting multiman but it exits to xmb with an error.

is it possible to simply use multiman DEX without going through all the mounting and ps3gen stuff to play backups?
